A Fair Trade Day in San Diego!
SDSU students came by to sample Fair Trade
chocolate during finals week. At the Villa Alvarado residence hall
students enjoyed Ben & Jerry's chocolate ice cream, spicy and
regular hot cocoa, chocolate bars from Green & Blacks Organic,
Madecasse, Equal Exchange, Divine and Theo.
Many students signed up to be a part of
Fair Trade SDSU! Professor Vinod Sasidharan, Faculty Advisor for Fair
Trade SDSU served the hot cocoa while encouraging students to become
part of the movement on campus.
Brad Perry of KUSI enjoyed his FREE scoop of Ben and Jerry's Ice cream
with every donated gift for Promises2kids with Ephraim Mallari at
Seaport Village.
Check
out the La Mesa Fair Trade Towns sticker in the top corner of the
window! Fair Trade San Diego County made a donation to Promises2Kids to
support the cause.
